The Nerds at Sandy Hook

The Nerds played recently at Sandy Hook before a large crowd, an unofficial Russ DeSantis estimate of 10,000 people. And why not? Weather wise it was a top ten day and The Nerds played wonderfully as the sun lowered behind them. People of all ages crowded together on the sand with their coolers full of food and drink. If a person wanted to move, he or she had to negotiate meandering, narrow passageways through the sand. My personal thanks to The Nerds for allowing me to photograph from up on stage to get some great angles. Photos appeared in The Record and The Herald.
